Medieval philosophers agreed that good advice is essential to a well-maintained life, so how could you go wrong if you seek out the best advice about what courses to take? The best advice for an art history and archaeology major will come from the Director of Undergraduate Studies in AHA, who will know what courses you need and what courses are being offered in the next semester. Do not rely upon your roommate, your brother, or your best friend for this information!

  1. Make an appointment with the Director of Undergraduate Studies before early registration each semester.
  2. Bring an unofficial transcript.
  3. Once you have completed Math 1120 and English 1000, fill out a Graduation Plan with your advisor.
  4. Once it's completed, let us take your picture as an "official" Art History and Archaeology major, and then take three copies of the plan (each signed by the AHA Director of Undergraduate Studies) to the offices of the College of Arts and Science (A & S) in Lowry Hall. Once it is approved by A & S you will receive a copy.
  5. You must fill out a Graduation Plan before you have earned 60 hours of college credit.
  6. Continue to consult your advisor whenever you pre-register for classes.
  7. Before you pre-register for your last semester of coursework, make an appointment with A & S Advising (Lowry Hall), who will evaluate your Graduation Plan, any substitution forms, and your transcript.
