Minor in Art History and Archaeology

A minor in art history and archaeology requires 15 hours of credit within the Department of Art History and Archaeology. Nine of the 15 hours must be at the 3000-level or above.

Combined Graduation Plans

Undergraduate programs may be arranged that combine art history and archaeology with other fields, for instance art history and library science, journalism or studio art, or archaeology and classical languages or anthropology.

To combine a major in art history and archaeology with that in another department in the College of Arts and Science, it is necessary only to meet the specific requirements of each department. If the second major is in another college, such as the School of Journalism, an additional 12 hours are needed and two degrees are awarded.
